Customers with Maintenence Agreements in place have priority of our service resources. CPS engineers have experience in selling and servicing UPS for over 30 years and can therefore offer you and your client the best possible support for our UPS equipment.

Customised Agreements
Agreements from CPS can often be adapted to suit specific customer requirements in respect of response times and the need to carry out preventative maintenance at pre-arranged dates and times when customer loads are less critical. Maintenance generally falls into two main categories, preventative and remedial. These are both carefully planned into service contracts offered by CPS. A modest annual investment can ensure that you UPS system is maintained regularly to guarantee optimum performance and ensure availability when it is needed.

Battery Care and Maintenance
Although not officially classed as spares, the batteries are as important as the UPS they support. All batteries have a life expectancy specified by the manufacturer, usually 5 to 10 years in the case of ‘sealed maintenance free’ cells. Unfortunately, the ‘design life’ of a battery cannot be guaranteed and relies on several factors, including environment, temperature, maintenance, number of discharge cycles, charging regime etc.

As part of our maintenance program CPS will monitor your battery installation physically and from office records to ensure that the risk of premature failure is negligible. Replacement battery systems can be supplied without any delay and are sized accordingly to the most recent system requirements.

Third Party Support?
As a dedicated organisation, all CPS engineers concentrate primarily on support of our own products, since we recognise the fact that the best and most reliable service of any equipment is only available from the manufacturer or accredited distributors. Third party maintenance organisations can rarely offer the level of support necessary for such sophisticated equipment and almost certainly, factory tested spare parts will not be stock items.
